Dexter
The Aloha Mini 2

Dexter is our six-foot-tall, wildly overbuilt Aloha Mini 2 — a bimanual manipulation platform with a carbon fiber frame and brand new arms on the way. Big, friendly, and built to work with both hands.

Two Hands Are Better Than One

Most teleop robots have one arm. Dexter has two — and stands tall enough to work at human counter height.

Bimanual Manipulation

Two coordinated arms let Dexter handle two-handed tasks — folding, sorting, handoffs, and assembly work.

Overbuilt by Design

A carbon fiber frame and a 6-foot vertical build take the Aloha Mini concept way past its factory spec.

Expressive Face

A screen face with animated eyes makes Dexter approachable for social and human-robot interaction research.

AI Training Ready

Bimanual demonstrations are gold for imitation learning. Every Dexter session feeds open robot datasets.

The Upgrade Path

Dexter is mid-transformation: a carbon fiber structural rebuild plus a new set of arms will make him stiffer, lighter, and far more capable for precision bimanual work.

Built for Teleop

Once the new arms land, Dexter joins the live teleop rotation — dual-arm control sessions with depth vision, streamed straight to your browser.
